Too damn long....that's how long. I do remember a nice dip in gas prices when we snuck under $1.00 for regular-and I believe that was in the late 1990's-I forget the impetus for that, but it was sweet to fill up for $13.00. Yesterday it was $37.80.
I am not good with these calculations but if our dollar were equal (and it almost is) then our gas would be 4.73/gallon as it is currently around 1.25/litre

i can't remember when the 1.38 was but i do remember it was 50 cents a gallon in my senior year of high school, 1962.
Don't believe everything you see. Was this station actually still in business? I see low gas prices at closed stations around this area.
Excellent composition! I like it for its beautiful tones in B & W, deliciously light. Greetings.
We're up around 3.69 for regular. I'd guess this station has been closed for five years or so.
1981! Has it really been that long? Jeesh. We're paying around $3.41-ish here in OR. But somebody pumps it for you. No self-service allowed here!

This would look normal if the price was for litres!
fabulous shot Rebecca, I love the tones of dark and light
don't get me started on gas prices, my soap box is taking a break :)
