When I took typing in high school, there were only two electric typewriters in the classroom and only those who were planning to go on to secretarial school (another thing of the past) were allowed to use them!
typewriters in our classes (decades ago) had no letters on the keys. so one had to learn the positions or make mistakes all semester! I was grateful for that class.

I no about the delete key, i used that white out over and over... typo painted white
